I’m about to begin building a table for my large EGG. What is the safest way to get the EGG into the table? ( other than very carefully) I’m worried about chipping or breaking it.

Depends on what size Egg you have. But remove all the inside parts and get a friend to help. Don't hold or lift on the bands, handle or hinge parts.
Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
As mentioned above be sure to remove all the inside parts. I struggled with this a few months ago and ended up taking off the bands and the lid. Then I reached inside and grabbed a hold through the bottom vent. Once the bottom was in place I reassembled the lid and attached the bands.

my wife is rather short and not the strongest out there. we were able to lift the bottom "half" with the internals but the just hanging onto the top ring and lowering it down in the hole. I sat it on top first, then gently in. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A TABLE NEST. Just putting it on the paver is not good enough, you need the table nest.

If the hole is large enough, there is a Pot Lifter on Amazon that makes it easier for 2 people to install.Aledo, Texas

I agree. I use my Pot Lifter and I can carry my Small by myself as if it was a duffle bag!
