So have been thinking about asking for a few things from my wife this year and wanted to get the group's thoughts.

The first item that I am interested in is the Kick Ash Basket. Does anyone here use one? Is the stainless version worth it?

The second item is the Flame Boss 300. I like the thought of having an actual app vs the web interface of the CyberQ and it seems like most of the people here prefer the Flame Boss. I noticed it on Amazon, but for some reason Amazon says that it cannot be shipped to my location. Is it worth it? Where's the best place to purchase one?

i have 2 kick ash baskets and told a friend getting her husband an egg for Christmas, it is a must.  i haven't used the stainless one, both with little rust on either of mine, i don't see the need for stainless.  I like the flameboss a lot and their customer service is top notch.  I would order through their website not on amazon or find a local dealer that carries them.

+1 on the Flameboss. I only have the 200 but have had no issues. My local Ace carried it.

KAB is ok unless you have a XL then it’s pointless.

The controller is nice and convenient but not necessary. The KAB is probably the only needed accessory IMO

Love the KAB. I don't have a temp controller for the egg, but I also have a dedicated smoker for low and slow.

Nice idea on the KAB.  Just added it to my list for my Medium.  Didn't know that thing was out there, but looks awesome! 

I'm a big fan of my DigiQ - of course unless you have another temp module.

I think I am the only one that doesn't like the KAB.  Felt like it burned through the charcoal quicker, or wasn't as efficient in the burn. Mine is sitting collecting dust/rust.  :(

Bought my KAB when I purchased my egg due to the infinite positive reviews on here. Makes cleanup a breeze
