Late Thanksgiving Turkey Post

Brined with Meat Church bird bath and then seasoned with Meat Church Honey Hog and Spatchcocked. I cooked this bird over root vegetables with some cherry smoke.

    Louisville;  L & S BGEs, PBC, Lang 36; Burnin' wood in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer.  
  • 13lbs at 325 direct with coals banked to one side for about 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs. It was closer to 2 hrs before the breast hit 160.

    Thanks! I cooked 5 on thanksgiving starting at 630 am est. time and that was by far the best one for whatever reason!
