Old Egg

Found this egg for sale. I may be interested in purchasing it. Does anyone know what this is worth? I’ve seen a picture of one at the BGE museum. It appears to be unused which is even more interesting to me. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

It looks to me to be an Imperial Kamado. I can't really tell from just the one picture.

Any more info like the size (thinking it’s either the equivalent of a medium or large)? Did they claim it is a BGE? It does look like an earthenware kamado.  I’d ask to see or look at the metal top for any identification.  If it was a large size and not cooked in and without any cracks it would probably list for $500-$700 on Craigslist in my area (CA) but not sure how many would pay that much.

@Richard Fl might have info. He's restored a couple I think.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

That looks like it’s in great shape! The charcoal grate looks like it may be cast iron and not earthenware like the old kamados.  Looks like another one in one of the pics? One of those would look great in the BGE museum.
