I found that the best fats to season with were bacon grease or lard > Crisco > grapeseed oil. I'm no expert though.

This like Eggs? You "need" one of every size? LOL 17, 22, next up... ?? =)

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

  • I seasoned mine using my gas grill.  I simply sprayed pam on it it, several coats while it baked on.  It became black after.  @Carolina Q, I dont need every size.  I only have the 17", 22", and 36".  I did not buy the 28".   B)

I hope you're joking! I only have the 17 - and almost never use it. I've had it since Nov 2016, used it maybe a dozen times!

Has anyone here tried the Blackstone Tailgater. I have the 36" for home but am considering the Tailgater for the RV.
    Any reviews?
