Anyone growing a beard or mustache this month?

Have not been clean shaven in a good 6 years.  Thinking of  going clean shaven again.  Getting tedious fending off the ladies.

Downloading movie as I type.  Looks funny.

I've had a full beard for the last 40 years. Thinking maybe I should shave it off  for one November just becuz.

How much longer do we guess the current beard fad will last before the hipsters get bored with them and move on to The Next Big Thing? Two years? Five?

  • I was hoping the skinny jeans would have claudicated enough bloodflow that it would have killed them all off by now; but alas I still am waiting.....  Hasn't it been a few years already with the beard paste and moustache wax?

I'm pretty sure I'd get mistaken as a pedophile if I went with just a mustache. I shave when my neck can no longer take it. Pure lazyness on my part.

Could be longer - a beard makes a wimp feel manly, and girls like facial hair right now. I think that’s mostly it.

I shaved 3 months ago.  After 7 years with one.  It was awkward.  Also, probably really good for your skin to let it see the light of day.  I scrub my beard with my fingers but there was still a lot of dead skin especially on my chin.

So I assume you also shaved your head then yes? :)

Pretty much rock a beard all year, let it grow for the colder weather.  Keep it clean, trimmed, well oiled. It's the longest it has ever been now.  Plan on letting it grow all Winter.

Best thing is, I don't get raped when buying razors, as one razor will last for several months.

If you consider high and tight cut combined with male pattern baldness nearly shaved then yes. Beard is definite thicker than hair on top of head.

What is this beard think that you speak of ? Kinda glad that I can't grow one.

As I work from home I only shave about every 4 or 5 days... A decent razor blade lasts me 2-4 months.
And if after a month of trying to grow a beard I might end up with a decent Goatie

Well by accident I have 3 or 4 day head start on Movember... so we'll see.  Have to go see clients in head office next week so I doubt I want to look like a 17 yo pubescent kid for that.
