Save up a few more dollars and get a dual temp probe with temp controller.

I still use the hell out of my Maverick ET733 for monitoring remotely. Works for me

Love my Thermoworks Smoke, used to have the Maverick ET733. Smoke is vastly superior in my opinion, easier to set, pairs automatically. Haven't got the wifi yet.

thermoworks smoke, I threw the maverick away after using it.  I haven't tried the new wifi gateway yet but plan on adding it soon

after using a maverick for maybe 10 years, it just sits in the drawer now, i just dont need or use it anymore. im either sleeping or away from the house during low and slows so no ones checking on it anyways
