My Lodge cast iron skillet cracked on the egg...

I was putting the finishing touches on a sous vide beef tenderloin roast and "boooong" real loud and when I cleaned the skillet a crack is now all the way across the bottom. I can also see it on both sides of the skillet. Roast was slamming.

I bet your pan has no regrets. Hang/Display the pan in your garage in honor of this cook. Beef looks perfect.

Well it took one for the team, jumping on a grenade.  That roast is perfect.

I'm with Darian, that pan would be nailed up on the fence.  Have actually kicked this around with the roached DNR pans I come across.

 I had a lid to a 60 year old dutch oven do the same to me one time. Not in an egg....but in an oven.

A small logo #10, a large block logo #6, and a #7 dutch oven. I wanted a smaller dutch to try cooking for the 2 of us since my daughter moved out. I have a bid on an understored #10 dutch oven, if it stays cheap I will et it also and move my old lodge #10 to the camper for trips.
