    I've unintentionally measured the amount of rain that would get in thru the wheel with the petals fully open a couple of times.

    After a 2 hour long kickass storm that dropped 2" of rain (according to my backyard rain gauge) the amount of water that was collected in a clean pan I happened to leave on the grate of one of my kamados that was not being used at the time was a whopping...1 tablespoon.

    Not really a Noah-like concern.
