Doing a brisket this Saturday and there's a 100% chance of rain here in East Tn....While I have no worries about the egg holding temp obviously, do I need to worry about the rain going in the holes in the daisy wheel?

Doesnt matter. I have done turbo ribs and butts in full downpours, no effect.
I think(wish) the heat vaporizes the water drops as they enter the dome opening.2 LBGE, Blackstone 36, Jumbo Joe

Where's @stlcharcoal ?? Large can that will fit over the daisy wheel. Drill / punch / ?? a bunch of holes in the sides of the can to allow for outbound airflow and place over the top of the daisy wheel after you get everything adjusted. Cheap A$$ substitute until you get your Smokeware cap!!
