Suggestion of a starter to go with steak main course?

Hey. I'm having friends over for steak on Saturday. They are very good cooks and can assemble a great meal themselves. It's their first time sampling the Egg - I'm cooking a picanha to slice into steaks (always turns out amazing), with chips (fries) and grilled little gem lettuce. Argentine style.
What I need is a starter that I can cook on the BGE and isn't particularly heavy. If it were a bigger group I'd do wings or smoke a Camembert but there will only be four of us, so that seems like a lot of food.
Any suggestions of something light and simple appreciated!

Marinade some tiger or king prawns and grill them? A bit messy to eat but tasty, simple and quick to cook.

Good thoughts on shrimps / prawns!
Made me also think of scallops. I found this recipe - https://www.fishforthought.co.uk/bbq-scallops-recipe.html Any other scallop thoughts welcome thanks -
not many have grilled oyster mushrooms, oil them, dust with rub, grill hot til some crisp developes. extremely simple, leave them whole for the cook
might go better with th steak

shrimp lejon, use prosciutto instead of bacon, go as heavy as possible with the horseradish

Grilled provoleta (Argentine provolone) is always a hit.Cooking on a LBGE and MM down in Miami, FL.

Grilled shrimp and bacon kabobs. Par cook the bacon until rubbery. Wrap the shrimp with bacon and skewer on kabob sticks. Marinate to your taste (we like a tangy sweet/hot marinate). Grille for 10 minutes. Enjoy.Michiana, South of the border.

Grilled oysters or CI scallops are always a hit. (I use a salt block if you've got one)

Or go an easier route and put some bread on the grill with evoo and put some garlic and tomatoes on skewers and serve with some hard cheeses.
Last year i cooked grilled pears with Brie on cedar planks that everyone seemed to like.
Bacon wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates are always a home run as well.
