For Sale: XL Custom table in KANSAS
It's pretty heavy, so I would prefer not to ship it. My cost for the materials was a little over $400, which includes $100 for the stainless steel plate shelf and 10" rear wheels, and 5" front wheels. Rolls like a dream from the garage to the patio. Has an outdoor recepticle w/switch to power your controller or LED grill lights. Lots of storage for your ceramics and pizza stones. Folding shelf with aluminum heat sinks to set hot items on. BGE XL nest is bolted to frame to keep lots of air circulation around the kamado. Grate hangs on side mounts. You won't find a nicer metal table anywhere. Be the envy of your neighborhood at the next pool party!
Selling for $400 picked up in Hays Kansas. If you have a friend that's a truck driver, I can load at our commercial dock with our fork lift. Shipping is up to you! I have built these for the locals, and they love them! Don't take up a lot of space on the patio.

That's a really nice setup. I paid over four times that for my challenger.Plymouth, MN

I have built some larger 36" x 60" tables with granite tops for $400 also, but this model seems to be more popular with the locals since it takes up 1/2 the space on their deck/patios. No wood to catch on fire, and zero maintenance for many years. I do this as a "hobby", and don't make anything on my custom table builds. It's cool to get people hooked on Kamado cooking, as most of the locals only use pellet grills.

Pic of one of my larger tables. The folding model is actually the same size when the shelf is in the "up" position. -
@littlerascal56 Whats the price for a small egg table ? Have you ever built one ?
-
I think @Tspud1 might have issue with your "no nicer metal table" comment.
I think his stainless tables are nicerMaybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL

I should have said "no nicer metal table anywhere for $400" LOL. All stainless would be awesome, but $$$$$$$.

Have only built tables for XL's. Most people around here would not spend the money for a smaller egg custom table, as they get by OK with the factory nest. I am waiting for the day I get to build one for an XXL! -
I'm in Kansas City. I don't have an XL so that table won't work for me....but I surely would like a table for a MM or my Lrg (or for both together!). I love what you've done here!

If I were ever to get a table, it would be a metal one like the one you pictured above. Very nice. Back when I was thinking table, I had settled on Brian Allen Tables which look very similar to this one ^^.

I notice you have a Blackstone griddle. Did you see the table made with large egg and a Blackstone?
-
What a deal.... $400 for a "custom" table, might be worth a trip to your dealer to purchase an XL. Roll it out in the driveway for evening cooks (drool factor for the neighbors), then right back in the garage when it cools off!
-
Nice looking table. How do you cut out the metal for the egg?
-
Miller Plasma torch with a circle cutter attachment I built. Kind of like a big compass. Cuts a smooth hole in the 1/8" steel plate top, and no grinding required. Egg fits with 1/4" gap all around perimeter.

$400 and you furnish your account number for Con-Way Freight. Will get it on a pallet, strapped down, and a Bill of Lading attached ready for pickup at our commercial dock!
