It's a nice Sunday morning here and the food is on the Egg, 9:15 am.
There's a piece of pork shoulder, S&P, spices and peach jam. The other is a piece of belly / ribs. I asked the butcher for meaty ribs, most places here take the meat off for other cuts. This is ribs / belly and looks nice. S&P and spices.
250F, apple for smoke.

Looks like a great way to start the day. I've been seeing a lot of the peach jam used lately. Something I will have to try myself. Enjoy your cook.

Great day for low/slow pork.

Was taking forever at 250 F, bumped to 325 F for total cooking time of 10 hours for the ribs, no wrapping. Stupidly lost the freshly sliced picture, this is the last piece from the fridge today.

The pork shoulder took about 12 hours. Picture when done last night.

Our kids eat well, proper home cooked food, and now we have the Eggs, they get plenty of BBQ as well.

They were having a party some time ago at my kid's daycare, the highlight of which was lunch from Chic-Fil-A (fast food chicken sandwich chain in the States). All the kids were excited about the Chic-Fil-A part except mine... 'coz he's never been to one.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.
