I was wondering why my smoke grid temp was 50-60 degrees hotter than my Smokeware dome temp...

Did the test on the Smoke ... temp for boiling water  was ~211-212 on both probes

Did the test on the Smokeware Thermometer



Hmmm.. I don't remember water boiling at 148 Degrees.

The Temp Guage is about 1.5 years old.

Called customer service at Smokeware and... Matt is sending me a replacement!!  No Charge!!!  Woohoo!!!

I understand that the new probes will be adjustable as well so this should never be an issue again.
