Need some lobster advice please

I was give two frozen Florida lobsters today. I immediately put them in a cooler and covered with ice. When I got home they were partially thawed. I have put them in my freezer. Are they ok? I read one site that said it was ok since they were still cold. Most other sites said to thaw them and cook them. Any thoughts or advice? I was planning on cooking them a week from Saturday.
Thanks
Chuck

You got no problem at all.  Thaw when ready and then cook.  Think about .. have you ever heard of anyone getting sick off of eating lobster? Me neither.

Yeah. I found out about a shellfish allergy after eating at Red Lobster when I was in college. They rushed me in the ER ahead of someone who was bleeding profusely. It was a bad night.

Hey, shellfish allergies are for real.  When I was in the Army I had dinner with a buddy.  He ate shellfish without knowing he was allergic.  It was a very long night.

My comment was directed to those of us who aren't allergic.  I've never heard of anyone getting sick on a bad lobster.
