I had to replace my bottom a couple years ago.  While I was at it I replaced the firebox too since that had been cracked for years.  I've noticed that the holes in the firebox are smaller than my last one, purchased in 99.  It still kind of jacks me up because I was so used to the way she ran and getting her up to the temp I wanted was engrained in my head.  Now I'm still adjusting with it to get it where I wanted.  Old habits are hard to break I guess....
