Kroger bone in ribeye. Not bad!

Greetings fellow eggers!
I haven't posted in a while. I've been traveling a lot for work this summer and haven't had much egg time. I was at Kroger today and picked up a 3 pack of these ribeyes. The egg is getting up to temp now. I'm going to throw the steak and corn on at 650 and go for medium rare. Leave the corn in if it needs it while the steak rests. More photos in a bit!

Kroger must be eaten up with ribeyes in Nashville. They are giving them away right now.
I picked up 3 that size for $12 and a ribeye roast for $20 that had 4 bones at the one down here a couple of days ago.
I just yanked one out of the freezer for tonight."Brought to you by bourbon, bacon, and a series of questionable life decisions."

They've got some really nice stuff out right now but my go to bone in loin ribs have not made an appearance lately.LBGE

Looking forward to your review. Kroger meat has been dead to me -- you know what I mean -- for at least 10 years. Too many disappointments.

@Wolfie51sb and @GrillSgt I almost always agree.
Produce always seems to mold within days and I have returned more meat than I could remember for years.
Now we only grab what we need on a pinch. But sometimes you run across a deal you can't pass up. $4 bone in ribeyes? I'll roll the dice."Brought to you by bourbon, bacon, and a series of questionable life decisions."

They were selling for 5.50 a pound at our local Kroger, bought out the case, going back tomorrow when the meat cutter is in. It is a buy situation for sure. Yours looks fabulous

I've been pretty satisfied with the steaks from there recently.
