    I do have a cop neighbor on the right side, and a Don't Tread On Me flag under the Stars and Stripes on the left.  Between us three, I feel good for just about anything but Martial Law. 
    We would need a few more on board. Lol
    The lady that cuts my hair, her husband is a cop.  There house got broken into about 3 months ago...while they were asleep.  Just sayin, robbers are fning-stupid.

    got the cheapest(8 yrs ago it was) ADT package for $50(will turn out to be $20 after home insurance discount)a month which included any 5 sensors and a camera which is pointing out the front door window to watch my mailbox and any  package drop offs at the door. Control panel and app is pretty easy to use for my technologically challenged wife who also has an easy point laser and shoot 38.
    So all in all my home security system is the mentioned above along with me and my couple of toys and a couple of mean and loud yorkie terriers.
    I hope this answers your questions.

    Heh. Only time I've had an inkling of an intruder was a neighbor's family member who went into the wrong house. Walked right in when we were hanging out so I said "what's up?!". He got all flustered and started apologizing profusely as he walked out. Good times.
    neighbors kid comes in and raids the fridge for cheese. he just turned 16 but after a seizure back when he was about 5 he remains 5. have found him 3 am eating a pack of cream cheese in the kitchen. its good i dont have a gun

    we have the cop next door on tape in another neighbors house screwing with his ham radio. i know he has been in my house, and the nextdoor neighbors, been there longer than all of us, pretty sure he has keys to all the houses on the street around me, really should change the locks but its too easy to get in anyways.  the neighbor that caught him knew something was up, the cop was taped next to a sign with his name on it saying got you on tape =)  he was never turned in but we all seen the tape
