    Great Summertime plate Pete.
    Saw two tomater stands today.  They looked a little orange, early, but so tempting.  I could slice a couple and make that a meal with kosher and cracked white pepper.

    I did some BLTs last weekend with some maters from the sweet corn purveyor. Bacon on the grill. The corn wasn't as good last week. This week was spot on. I finished the maters up with some salt and pepper. Yum! They was pretty good.

    If it's a whole surface sear you seek, simply turn the grill grates over to the flat side. 
    Hmm... I love my steaks on the regular grid, had only thought I'd try them the "regular" way and see what I thought, and wasn't impressed, but that's a good idea -- I probably ought to give that a try.  Thanks!
