Challenger Designs Table

Hey guys, I just purchased a Challenger Designs Torch 76 table for my medium and XL egg.  For those of you who have these tables, did you disassemble your domes prior to putting them in the table?  I'd rather just clean them out, remove the inner components and drop them in without having to mess with the bands and domes.  My guess is the medium shouldn't be a problem but the XL may need to be disassembled..... thanks for any input.

Mark

It's best to loosen and remove the dome. Obviously, I would remove every bit of the internal parts to reduce the weight. It takes about 15 minutes.

Loosen & remove. Even on the medium. You'll be lifting a bit higher then on a wooden table and you'll want to clear the metal edge of the circle easily.

I took the dome off my large before putting it in the table. I didn't have anyone around who could help me so I figured better safe than sorry.

You're going to love the Challenger. Mine's a 48 with the fold-down extender. Still just as great after three years.

Wow!  Thanks for the replies guys.  I suspected that taking the domes off would be the safest way to go about it.  Looks like I'll go ahead and do that.  Glad to hear you all love your tables.  I can't wait to use mine....certainly will be a game changer!
