OT - Blackened steaks on the gasser.

Make some blackened strip steaks on the gasser using a Lodge cast iron platter as a griddle. Made some peppers and onions and mushrooms to go with it, sauteed in the steak drippings. I apologize in advance for the canned mushrooms, but was out of fresh ones, so I improvised.
Did not watch it close enough and overcooked the steak, but it was still edible, just way overdone. Peppers and onions really make this dish shine.
Served with some freshly sliced tomatoes and some leftover green beans, cabbage and sweet potatoes.
Fairly tasty.
Funny thing, at least to me...out of habit I burped the gasser each time I opened it.
