    Nah. Home alone.

    No groceries. Vacation next week.

This was the first time I'd ever put cumin on a steak but it worked well.

Great minds think alike (almost). I have a steak thawed in the refrigerator that is for a salad much like yours. My wife and I worked around the house today in the heat and honestly, I just couldn't bring myself to fire up anything hot. We had a bourbon slushie apiece and a plain baked potato.

Your salad looks fantastic as always my friend. I'll definitely be a copy-cat tomorrow.

"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Ya know, that would look pretty damn good if it wasn't for the crappy diamond shaped plate :)

Cumin and meat go together like black on beans. I've said this before , but one of my favorite , and simplest rubs is salt, cumin, and cayenne. It's hard to put too cumin on meat. Or garlic.

I actually added a bit of cayenne to the steaks.   Won't be the last time.

I've got to get some round plates:)
