Hello everyone! I am from Baton Rouge, LA and am a proud owner of two eggs. I wanted to see if there was anyone from Louisiana on the forum? I would love to get together and cook sometime.

Welcome!

A bunch of us get together and cook in New Orleans every year - this will be the 4th year.  We call it Brisket Camp as it originally started to teach locals, who typically don't do many briskets around here, how to cook brisket.  Since then, it's devolved into a food orgy/party.

Oct 21st this year.  You would be more than welcomed to join us in cooking.  We will have a few eggs but bringing one and cooking on it is encouraged.

It's at Warren's Corner in Algiers Point.
