  • Haha. I'd hate to see the brand on Jerrys girlfriend.

Google led debadging a car. It's real easy. Heat gun and fishing line and some goo gone will pop them right off.

Just add "Face" after McDavid. Probably easier.

If I ever order a brand-new car, one of my requirements will be "No Dealer Badges!"  That kind of thing irks me to no end.

I've actually done that with my three most recent car purchases. Simply told the salesperson I'd nix the deal if the vehicle had the badges on it when I picked it up. They countered with the branded license-plate frame, which was removed within 30 minutes after I got home.

If so you need to have someone guarding the car, because they will "forget" and put it anyway. If it is the plastic piece like above they are real easy to take off when new. After they have been on a while it is not as easy, plus you end up with a "suntan" around where the emblem was. If it is a sticker (which is rare for a dealer to put on a new car, but some do) that would be a P.I.T.A. to remove.

WD40 according to the mfg. OTOH if you are careful just use a hair dryer which will soften the adhesive.

I had a dealer's badge that was on crooked.....  Hairdryer (sound funny for a balding guy to have....) and fishing line and WD-40 took care of it for me.

    Probably a good thing I can't afford a new car, then.   ;)
