Probe Tree and Spare Ribs

I used the BBQ Guru Probe Tree for the first time.
Smoked some spare ribs for 5 1/2 hrs at 275. Blues Hog Original and Tennessee Red. 
Might be my imagination but the grate temp seemed to me more consistent with the tree.

The tree is a great product imo. Ribs look pretty great too.

I'm ordering one tonight!  I just need to figure out a way to get my BGE branded maverick probe to stick on too.

I had a probe tree with my original bbq guru, I have no idea where it's at now.
It never really worked out for me. Even though I had a plate setter, I always used a pan of some sort on top of the grid. This prevented using the probe tree.
In the right setup I can see the probe tree being very convenient.
