OT: I am not a Scotch drinker
I am NOT a Scotch drinker. But the old man definitely enjoys a fine Scotch. This was rated the top 18 year old Scotch for 2017 on some list so that's what he gets for Father's Day.
Well, that and something cooked on the BGE. I gave him a choice of rack of lamb, Philly cheese steak (both his favorites), or beef filet. He loved the sound of all 3 and chose the filet in the end, so that's what's going on the grill tonight.

I'm not a scotch drinker either. However, I've recently been introduced to Japaneses whiskey and I've really enjoyed what I've tried thus far.Large and Small BGECentral, IL

I'd love to tell you how awesome the Scotch was but I never acquired a taste for it so it would have been wasted on me to drink it.
However, I do have a taste for med-rare beef. The meat and the sides were his choice. Everything tasted great. It was cooked on the little red one so don't hate me.

I used to not like the divided plates. Got these porcelain ones and they always seem to come out when I am cooking steaks.
