Simple meatloaf with some carrots.

Just a simple, small meatloaf, cooked directly in the pan, with some carrots too. Since I cooked it right in the pan instead of on the grate above a drip pan, I added a small chunk of pecan wood, but it is almost too smokey. Probably the pecan, maybe should have used apple or cherry, and a smaller chunk. Still good. Did this then a London Broil to slice for sandwiches later in the week. Oh, who am I kidding? There will be a meatloaf sandwich in my future as well.

That looks great! It's hard to beat a meatloaf sandwich. It looks like there is plastic on the bottom half?

No plastic, just foil, drippings and weird photo reflection.

Had some leftover meatloaf with a couple of fried eggs and some toast for breakfast this morning. I really enjoy leftover egged stuff with eggs for breakfast.

Yessir.  Runny eggs + egged leftovers win every time.
