Reattaching a Spring

One of my springs somehow came off and I'm trying to reattach it. Any ideas?

I had to adjust my bands this morning on my XL and had to remove the springs to do so. Once you get all your bolts tightened tilt the lid open and the springs are really easy to assemble. Just make sure all your bolts are tight before you open the lid.

I find it easier to attach the springs to the top first and then the base. Make sure they are open end down. Easier to do and gravity keeps them from coming off.

Got it done. Thanks everyone. Since I only had one spring attached, I guess the lid wasn't sitting open at full capacity. Once I pushed the lid up another inch or so, I was able to get the spring attached.
