Medium egg in a large nest

Hello

I recently was able to get a used Medium egg and I have a large nest that I no longer need for my large egg.  Has anyone ever made a medium egg fit a large nest somehow?

I've never done it but guarantee it's easier than putting a large in a medium nest.

No idea on the base diameter delta but you likely could find a suitable piece of scrap steel that could sit on the LBGE nest with MBGE sitting on it.  Or some other McGiver adaptation.

Here's a side by side of a medium / large. IMHO I can't see why you couldn't just bend the arms inward. You'll probably have to bend the tips of the arms outward so they don't dig into the ceramics. I think you could do it with a large crescent wrench or vise.
