First Pig Butt


Have had the XL Egg for almost 6 months. I've used it 2-3 times a week doing roasts, steaks and other assorted stuff. Decided it was time to pull some pork. Started with a 6 lb Boston butt.  Started at 275 degrees, went up to 285 for a short time. Finished it at 300 degrees.  Total cook time was 8 hrs 47 minutes.  No foil wrap. Thanks for looking!
