Thanks BGE for new bands!

I was having MAJOR issues with my bands on a Large egg I bought last year.  Submitted a claim and now I have the new bands as replacements!  Love it.

They look pretty cool. Can you post a photo of the back of the hinge?

I had some issues with my XL, after trying to fix it on Thursday and emailing BGE, I had a new set of bands in the garage by yesterday. Great customer service. My MM bands are warped, but I hate to push my luck.

I bought my eggs thru Roy Vaden Pools in Mt. Juliet. I can say there are no nicer people to deal with. Roy and his wife are probably both in their 60s. Every time I take my 2 year old in with me, he runs over and jumps in Roy's lap. His wife told me he doesn't have any grand kids of his own, so any kids that come in, he treats them like his own. I happened on them by chance, but I drive 35 mins to do business with them, its almost a pleasure to give them my money.

Having said that, I registered both my eggs, so I just emailed BGE directly, Bruce emailed me almost immediately. He had me try to make some adjustments first. Once that made it worse, he said he would send me some new bands, that they where probably warped. That was late Friday. I had the bands by 4:30 yesterday afternoon. Pretty good service.

@TN_Sister_State Who did you purchase thru?

I bought from hearth and grill shop in Nashville, last purchase ill ever make there. They did replace my firebox with no issue but im sure those are cheap and its easy to see a crack. I sent Bruce some photos and said i am willing to try anything. Ill report back what he says. If i buy another egg it will be from Embers in cool springs or I may drive out to Mt Juliet. Good people are rare these days so would be worth the drive to me.

I've got two stores here in Gallatin, sometimes they are cheaper than Roy Vaden, but they don't have the amount of stuff that Roy has, nor are they as friendly. I will pay a little more to like the people I deal with.
