Trying out these meats from Diamond Ranch in California and i must say they are epic.. Such a different buttery fat flavor.

    I was thinking the same thing. Glad someone else caught that.
    Organic, yes, but they need a 10% protein diet to just survive, 14% to have any kind of somewhat quality of life/health, and 16% to lay, and bump to 18% when molting. Commercially grown meat birds I think are fed at 18%+. I think...  not sure. Never had them.

    They can't live on grass alone.
    Maybe they were just suggesting that they have access to grass to eat and hence "free range"?  That is my guess. 

    But the sausages look awesome!
