iGrill app issue resetting temp after initial use. - Or any remote thermometer that works great

Have the Weber iGrill app and have used it 1 time and it worked great.  I now wanted to use it a 2nd time and the temp would not reset.  I tried multiple things with no success.  I have used Weber temp apps without any issues, but I will have issues this smoking season without some sort of thermometer other than an instant read one.  Don't want to open the egg every time I need to check the temp.  Any suggestions on this issue or does anyone have a thermometer that they really like

I didn't have this specific issue, but my Igrill probe stopped working after a few uses.  Weber had great customer service and sent a new probe free of charge. Try shooting them an email.

When you say the temp would not reset are you referring to the alarms; or will the temp just not display in the app?

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

SmokeyPitt, the temperature reading on it just started where I left off last time and just started climbing.  It was like zero was reset to a higher degree.  I called Weber's help desk and they talked about a reset button and will try that when I got home.  They were great on the phone and am convinced they will replace it if I can not get it to work.

I liked how easy the original igrill app was. Now that weber owns them it sucks. I would not recommend an igrill to anyone anymore. Just last night I did a ham and went to sleep had the high end alarm set at 75 just above where it was internally to test that the alarm works and it went off. I then couldn't get it to change my target temp to 145 the only way I could do it was to choose a preset temp so I chose the steak medium or whatever it was at 140 and set it. Woke up at 1 am and the ham was at 167 and no alarm ever went off. The new weber app is garbage I would return the igrill if I could.
