Redneck sous vide tri tip

so I know I need to just get an anova. But until I do I use my crock pot. I plopped in a vacum sealed tritip at 8 am this morning. I used my digital thermometer to monitor the temp
and kept it between 130 and 133 all day. Got the gasser cranked up to almost 700 and seared for a few minutes on each side. 
End result was fork tender tri tip.
