First meatloaf

I smoked my first meatloaf tonight after getting some fresh ground beef from a friend at Southern Meadows Farms in Advance, NC.
Made loaf with half-and-half soaked white bread, onions and green peppers along with 2# ground beef.
Thought it was tasted great but was probably a little too "soupy" when I put it on the grill. Didn't hold the shape that great which I think was a product of too much half and half.
As always, any thoughts or tips are appreciated!

One of my favorite cooks that really shines off the Egg. Even better are leftover meatloaf sammiches!

Nothing wrong with that- i suspect it will firm up nicely in the fridge. Slice off a nice piece and put in a cast iron pan for an amazing meatloaf sandwich.

I'm in Charlotte. Have lived in Chapel Hill and Raleigh too but the Queen City is home.
Leftovers tasted good. Thanks for the tip on meatloaf sandwiches. Look forward to trying it.
