It can be your favorite kitchen knife, trusty rusty rifle, bass boat, tractor, deep sea rod, chicken coop, tiller, or a wobbly shopping cart...but we all have those favorite "tools" we use to get our food to the dinner table.

I love my old FM-2 film camera, and always wanted Nikon to make a new one, same manual controls, but with a digital back (okay, maybe add a spot meter). Damned if they didn't come quite close! There's still too much tech on it, but I love this thing, and it even uses my old mechanical cable release, which I use a lot. I knew a lot of folks would hate this, and so was able to get an almost-new one for 2/3rds the cost of brand-new. I use an OM1 for film shooting. I grew up DIY developing black and white and still enjoy shooting it. We had a lab at school, but I got banned for printing pictures of a teacher with convict numbers across the frame. No snse of humour.Botch said:

Here is one of mine. Just a little light tackle combo with a trout magnet setup. Great for wade fishing the rivers where I am at. Tons of smallmouth and panfish brought home with it. "Brought to you by bourbon, bacon, and a series of questionable life decisions."

I have two of these. They bring food to the kitchen. Other tools bring it to the table.. Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories. -

Bought a big ass spatula called a BBQ Buttula. Heavy duty! Can easily pick up a butt, brisket or prime rib. I don't need it every cook, but I love not having to fight with, and deform, big cuts of meat.
I bought mine at the Dizzy Pig store, but found this for online shopping

No very original...but I guess I would have to say the Thermapen. I use it on almost every cook. Something else I use often is silicone BBQ gloves like these. I really like that you can pick up hot pans and also hot food.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Not the fanciest thing I have but I have used this for 30+ years. Since I "Borrowed" it from my Dad. My father recently passed and I misplaced it for a week or so right about that time- really hurt to lose him and his Channel Locks.
XLBGE, LBGE, Charbroil Gas Grill, Weber Q2000, Old Weber Kettle, Rectec RT-B380, Yeti 65, Yeti Hopper 20, RTIC 20, RTIC 20 Soft Side - Too many drinkware vessels to mention.

I never knew how much I used the mates until I didn't have any for the small. I'd love a prep table but not much of an option when rolling the eggs from the garage to the driveway. The mates are a valuable asset to me

fly reel junkie, ted godfreys, walnut maleo on left, light salmon on right, geared multipliers with huge drum brakes. these were 2 year deliveries from order straight from the reel maker. when i was young and stupid with no payments i did things right
still using that sp+ rod as well, its like holding a magic wand that was built just for me, others have tried it and it just wont work
