We cooked a salmon filet to 145F IT in this home made solar cooker today. The cooker got up to 210F or so and it took an hour and a half. We had to move it several times to stay on track with the sun. Good back up if your Egg goes down. But be forewarned, you can only cook lunch!

Very cool!Wisconsin, lbge, MM, kab, pig tail flippers, bear claws, and more rubs than I will admit to.

Heh. A lot more high brow than mine. I remember building one of these back in school, but we just cooked hot dogs.

Excellent project. Mixing science and great food.
