Navel is one of the cut used to make Montréal Smoked Meat (???and pastrami???). Put 5 lbs of beef navel into that cure on the 14th, smoked it today. Setting up in the fridge as I type to try in the morning.

@xc242 This stuff is crazy. Really good but really different.
Definitely tastes like bacon, but the beefy is really good, sliced it as thin as I could and cooked until crispy in a medium heat fry pan.
If you make your own bacon this is a fun change up.
I am a pig guy at heart, so this won't replace pork belly bacon, but a fun change and would blow lots of minds at an Eggfest. Recommended.

They have this at restaurant depot. I bought a pack a couple months back but haven't tried it yet.
