I have a mini max, and had it at first launch.. I dig it.. don't use it near as much as the large, but it has it's place.

Not crazy about it for smoking. The woo and platesetter don't play together well.

The woo is a must as it gives more clearance from the fire. it's also sometimes a pain to get super hot fast, but you just have to be more aware of cleaning out the ash and lump lighting.

That said- it travels well. Take it to FL and take it to our place in WNC Mtns.

Helps cook for a crowd or different foods when everyone gathers at our home..

@kingsmoke Whichever one you choose, don't forget to get a Woo from Tom at The Ceramic Grill Store. It will make cooking on either a better experience.

I have both a mini and a minmax. And if I could only have one, the Mini would be my choice.

Pretty cute little grilling buddy there! BTW UPS says they are delivering my Egg Carten from you tomorrow! Thanks again, buddy!

Question for you about your wooden top - do you put anything under them when you use them?
@RRP Yes I have tiles under each and one in the center.
And pics or it did not happen! Hope it shows up in on piece.
