I didn't get the temp. Just grabbed it and popped out the battery as quick as I could. Applying power to wet electronics is what ruins them. Without power you can usually dry them out and then they will work.

Had the darn thing in my shirt pocket and it fell out when I lifted the seat.

That's a good advertisement for the optional magnetic silicone boot.
