I really liked the Mary Tyler Moore show. It had a great cast. Ted Knight was one of my favorites.

She was my second crush when she was on the **** Van Dyke show. Loved those Capri pants.  My first crush was Anette Funicello on the Mickey Mouse Club. Man I'm getting old =)

  • For me it was never about Ginger or Mary Ann.  It was Ginger and Mary Taylor Moore.  Was sad to hear the news of her passing.

A lot of great people passing on lately. Why can't the trash like Maddona and her kind start dropping?

She was so hot back in her early years.

Sucks to see them drop now.

I hear you - and maybe it is my own mortality whispering in my good ear - but at age 72 I am seeing more and more of the stars who were in the lime light during my life passing away seemingly day after day. The thing that I have almost abandoned altogether is looking at those MSN updates of "look at what so and so looks like now". I know the grim reaper is chasing after all of us, but unless you see "them" aging slowly day after day like you do yourself looking in the mirror daily then seeing what time has done to their once pretty face and hot body is shocking.

I'm a young 31. I'm used to seeing drug overdose and violent deaths by people of my age that I've grown up with.

I completely get the, " they were only a year older than me" kinda thought that really bring our mortality to front and center. Has to be odd to see what amounts to a childhood and generation fade to the other sunset and have a moment of clarity and reflection.
