New Orleans Airport/Kenner Good Eats?

I'm headed to Thibodaux, LA for work late this week.  I get day night in Nawlins, but am stuck in the immediate airport area.  Can anyone recommend some good restaurants close to that area?  I was thinking Rivershack tavern for lunch Or, would it just be best to uber over to the main part of town for some better eats?

I may not be remembering correctly,  but I think @TigerTony may have directed me to to Thibodeaux for boudain or something. That was a couple of years ago.

If you can get there , we had a fantastic meal at R'evolution 2-3 years ago.

I've been asked (ordered) to bring some Randazzo King Cakes back for a few friends.  I wouldn't mind freezing and bringing back some boudin, but I won't be there that long.

You can get to the quarter fairly cheap.  We went for brisket camp v1.0 and it was only like 25 each way with uber now might be cheaper.  Could open up a world of possibilities

Surrounding the airport there isn't too many notable eateries. Alot in that area is fast food. If you want seafood I'd suggest either Smitty's Seafood or Fishermans Cove. My wife and I both enjoy Quarter View in Metairie but that is a slightly farther drive. Most of the good restaurants will be in New Orleans limits. hope this helped and any other questions, feel free to ask

Yes, you had to deal with peak pricing during Brisket Camp weekend.  Thank you.

I always heard Popeyes in New Orleans was much better than other places.

I wouldn't say its any better. Personally, I think Ive gotten better service at every Popeye's outside of NOLA... If youre looking for chicken, and youre ok with just getting tenders, I would highly suggest Raising Cane's
