Aldi...Top Round Steak

Picked this up at Aldi and SV with my chuck roast for just under 2 hours at 134. Also put some beef paste suff, salt and Cow Lick before bagging. Seared stove top in cast iron. Really good...looked allot like a flat iron but tasted like a fantastic top sirloin. At less than $5 a pound I like it.

Thank you,
Darian

Thanks for the tip, Darian!! Will give it a try. Only just started shopping at Aldi's.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

My first time in years. My inlaws in Indiana have Aldi stores and they shop Aldi.

We have only bought bacon from them in terms of meat. I may have to try some other stuff

I bought bacon as well. It was cheap and looked very thin, perfect for ABTs...I bought a few things to try.

i did SV chicken breasts and the most amazing thing is they dont appear to dry out in the fridge unlike grilled chicken, even days later!

The DudeThis is a very complicated case, Maude. You know, a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-you's. And, uh, lotta strands to keep in my head, man. Lotta strands in old Duder's head. Luckily I'm adhering to a pretty strict, uh, drug regimen to keep my mind, you know, limber.
