Mini-max accessories

I've been cooking on a large for a couple years and am pretty confident on it. I just received a mini-max for Christmas. Are there any tips or tricks that I should know? Are there any accessories that are a must have?

There's a butt load of threads on this. I personally love my CGS woo and stone, and thicker SS grid. I use mine mainly for hot and fast week night cooks and wings. Remember to leave the lid open while it comes to temp. Otherwise it'll be a damn hour before you'd be ready. Happy egging.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Thanks @Jeremiah . I usually only cook for the three of us so I can see this being my go to during the week. I'll look up the other threads. Appreciate the the help.

I agree with @Jeremiah . The CGS woo and stone are a must. I also added a KAB to help increase air flow.
There are also several mods that have been posted to this forum for the Mini Max. Such as: better, improved feet, a mod for the draft door, and an update to the original handles as well.
I love my Mini Max, enjoy!

@EggHeadinFlorida, let me take a look. I may have a few of them bookmarked. If not, I'll try to post the link.

And here's one of a couple threads about modding the feet: There was another really good one by @NPHuskerFL as well.

I like the feet mod. Im looking at putting some casters on my MM as well. I just cant find some small enough. The smallest one I found at lowes has a 3/8" bolt. I would have to cut the hole perfect in the feet or I risk putting the hole in the edge of the feet.
I need something with 1/4" bolt. That would be doable.

I hear others complain of the time it takes for the MM to come up to temp but I have not had that issue at all. Mine will come up to temp as fast as my large and faster than my small. -
This is how I start my MM. Cooking in 3 to 5 mins.
