I just put on a 21.4 pound brisket trimmed to 16.5 to 17 pounds. Cooking this mostly for the point to have burnt ends, I thought we should sliced brisket as well. Brother in law is doing pulled pork. I wanted to get this on to make sure it is done early and the flat got some a good hold over. More to come.
I also cooked some salmon for dinner tonight it came out really well.

Nice. I have an SRF gold on now. I hope the stall is long or I might not get much sleep.

Woke up an hour ago and the grill was 199 and the brisket at 144. Itso in the stall. I opened up the vents a little and the grill is up to 268 and the brisket is at 149. Letting it ride. Should be good.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

@vb4677 - You must be dyslexic. Raider's win and Chiefs lossLouisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Here are current photos of the burnt ends. They were a request by my wife's uncle from California. Them and pulled pork from my brother in law who is cooking it in the oven.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.

you're up north right? It takes me only about 20 min to get in that area. What time will the burnt ends be ready? Save me a few unsauced and a few sauced.
