Cornish & Scallops

Plenty of cooking coming up for the weekend but my son wanted something on the egg.  Went to the butcher and picked out cornish hens and a few sea scallops.  Cooked the hens indirect at 350 for an hour, sprinkled with a lemon pepper seasoning and a few chunks of apple wood.  Removed the setter and plopped the scallops on direct about 450 for 7 minutes.  Next thing you know I had this picture of beauty on my plate ready to be consumed.  It was outstanding!  The hen was so tender and succulent.  I love chicken on the egg but it will be hard to follow up a cornish hen with chicken!
