Cast Iron Smoke Box?

I'm not sure how I stumbled on this from a google search...  I think it was while I was just reading up on offsets.  I was intrigued after a gentleman at my local dealer says he had a Horizon offset.  

Anyway, has anybody ever tried something like this cast iron dutch oven smoke box?  I'm just curious what anybodies experiences are.

I've done it with a CI smoker box.
It works.
That Fockin' post in Spring, cost me 2 grand.
(Karubecue, saws, axes, alligator loppers, chainsaw, BioPlus Stihl bar lube, HD extension cords, SS drip pan, and split fruitwood)
Don't regret it one bit, it's my magic box.
