Tri tip: Reverse Sear

I was expecting some guests who have never had any food off a BGE before. I decided to go with a reverse seared tri tip with some Meat Church rubs I bought over their Black Friday sale. Low & slow at 225. Brought the meat to 120 and let it rest for 10-15 minutes and opened up the egg wide open for searing. Took some pictures along the way...







Now they want to buy an egg. I'd say that was successful
