Excited to figure these out.

It's definitely a game changer.  The adjustable rig and thermopen are my two most important accessories.

  • I got mine on Saturday. It is very easy to figure out how versatile they are. Cooked a bunch of pizzas on it Saturday night and 6 racks of ribs Sunday. I was a little ambitious with the ribs, but they still turned out delicious. Good luck with yours.

    You will love it!
  • Which set up did you go with? I'm thinking the large adjustable rig R and B oval combo and adding the second 13x17 oval grid. I smoke chicken and sausage most of the time. Not sure if this would be the best set up for it though.

This is what I got along with the extender and also the sliding D grid. I will occasionally put 2 spatchcocked chickens on the bottom oval grid and put wings or something on the sliding D grid. The 2 oval grids are nice if you want to do 4 slabs of ribs or 4 spatchcocked chickens. The oval grid also works really well for a long brisket.
