OT- Just got back from South of the Border

Just returned from a 2 week stay in Mexico.
Fished 4 days while I was down there. Used up most of our luck on the first day as we scored on a sailfish and 4 Mahi.
The other 3 days were slow with a sail on 2 of the days and another where we struck out completely. It wasn't just us, as most of the rest of the boats that went out had slow days as well.
I did bring back 18# of Mahi fillets.
On our last full day there we had a 4.9 tremblor in the morning. It happened around 7am and rousted quite a few out of bed.
It was a good trip, perfect weather, good food, and good company.

Beautiful catches and photo's....scarred me there for a minute. Thought you had visited Pedro on the South Carolina / North Carolina border.....

Here was a lunch pic of the Mahi one day while down there.
It was basically Veracruz style. Wasn't exactly the way I wanted it cooked. Got lost in translation, but was good none the less.

Had our friends, that vacationed in Mexico with us, for dinner last night.
Made some of the Mahi that I brought back along with some cheesy, mash potato, stuffed chile relenos.
The Mahi was dusted with a Mexican seasoning and served with sauted onions and poblano rajas.

 you first get them near the boat is incredible.

You haven't lived until you've visited THE South of the Border at the NC/SC line.

Looks like a great trip.  I love Mahi fishing.
